Welcome...

I'm Rachel Fall, a Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) and head evaluator for "Assessments for Learning," a private practice located in Pasadena, California. I provide comprehensive psycho-educational assessments and ADHD evaluations for children, teens, and adults.

While I work with a diverse range of individuals, I have a particular speciality in identifying ADHD in girls and women -- including those who have been overlooked or misunderstood for years. Girls and women often present ADHD in ways that don't fit the traditional stereotype. Many grow up being labeled as "bright but inconsistent," "anxious," "overwhelmed," or "perfectionistic" without anyone recognizing the underlying neurodevelopment pattern. My expertise is in understanding these more subtle presentations and providing evaluations that bring clarity, validation, and a clear path forward.

Besides ADHD, I also evaluate for possible learning disorders, dyslexia, autism, intellectual disabilities, social-emotional functioning and giftedness. For adults, I can provide career assessments that help them explore job areas that are a good match for their unique learning profile.

In addition to evaluations, I offer coaching, counseling and consultative supports with a warm, collaborative approach. I help clients understand their unique brain wiring, build practical systems for daily life, and develop skills to support school, work, and emotional well-being. For children and teens, these supports might address executive functioning, social-skills, or anxiety. For adults, we can evaluate your learning strengths and challenges and potentially help guide you towards career paths or on-the-job strategies that align with your distinct learning styles. For parents, we can consult on parenting styles and family dynamics, or how to navigate the supports provided for your child within the school setting. My goal is to come along side and work in partnership with you to help you or your child thrive within school or work environments.

As a parent and educator, I understand that there may be a great deal of emotion and anxiety that brought you here today. If you're seeking answers, support, or a deeper understanding of yourself or your child, I'm here to help. Everyone deserves an evaluation that sees the full picture - and I'm committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based guidance very step of the way.

On a personal note, I am a mother of two children who are now college age and beyond. I reside with my husband and family in the San Gabriel Valley. After working as a school psychologist for over 30 years, I am excited to be in private practice where I can dedicate more focused time on the people and families who cross my path. In my free time I love to read lots of books (mainly history), write, pray, exercise, and enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I look forward to hearing from you and creating a plan that can help with the concerns that brought you here today.
